Six / Privacy

Your workouts stay yours.

Six is a workout tracker from HS Technologies, LLC. Your workout history stays on your device, with no Six account, advertising or analytics.

Privacy policy · Updated

Six does not upload your workout history to HS Technologies. Apple handles the free trial and Lifetime purchase. Sharing a progress card is always your choice.

Workout history on your device

Six stores your exercises, logged sets, reps, added weight and workout dates in the app's local storage. There is no Six backend or app account. The app does not use advertising, analytics or tracking, and it does not send your workout history to us.

Six does not provide in-app workout sync, backup or data export. Device-level backup and restore behavior is controlled by iOS and your device settings.

Apple purchases and your trial

Apple's StoreKit service handles the free 30-day trial and the separate, one-time Six Lifetime purchase. There is no subscription, automatic renewal or automatic charge when the trial ends. The price shown in the app comes from Apple for your storefront.

Six checks Apple's signed purchase information on your device, including the product, original purchase date, ownership, verification and revocation status, to decide whether new logging is available. The trial begins with the original verified Apple trial transaction. Reinstalling the app or restoring that purchase does not restart the trial.

After the trial ends, Lifetime is required for new logging. Existing workout history remains available to view and edit without Lifetime.

Starting the trial, buying Lifetime and restoring purchases use Apple's transaction service and may require a connection and Apple Account authentication. Previously verified access can remain available offline when Apple has cached the entitlement. We do not receive your Apple Account password or payment-card details, and we do not run a purchase server. Apple handles purchase and account information under Apple's privacy policy.

Sharing is your choice

You can choose to copy, save or share a progress card. Six only starts those actions when you choose them. If you share a card with another person or service, the recipient or service handles it under its own privacy practices.

Photos permission

Saving a progress card asks iOS for permission to add an image to your photo library. Six requests add-only access. It does not browse or upload your existing photos. You can change this permission in iOS Settings.

Local reminders and preferences

Optional reminders are scheduled on your device. Six stores your reminder time, reminder preference, sound preference and onboarding state locally. These settings are not sent to an HS Technologies server.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your workout history stays in the app's local storage until you remove entries or delete the app. Deleting the app removes its local workout history; any device-level backup or restore is controlled separately by iOS.

Apple purchase records are separate from your workouts. Restoring a purchase with the same Apple Account can recover access, but it does not recover deleted workout entries or give the trial a new start date.

Support messages and these pages

If you email us, we use the address, message and any attachments you send to respond to your request. Your email provider and our email provider process those messages under their own policies.

These information pages have no advertising, analytics scripts or forms. The website hosting provider may process basic request information, such as an IP address and requested page, to deliver the website. This is separate from the locally stored workout history in Six.
